“Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness”

‍Colossians 1:11

The hardest concept for us to remember is that the strength within us, through the Power of God, is patience and endurance with joyfulness.

We desire the Blessings of God.  We love the Divine Touches from the Hand of the Lord.  We hunger for a Word from the Lord.  We often forget, however, the patient waiting for the Lord to show up and the endurance of persevering prayer for God to answer our plea. The greatest answer to our biggest prayers can be the ones that God takes the longest to answer. The miraculous moves of God often occur when our minds and bodies hurt the most and we feel another day, or another mile seems impossible.

Most of the time our greatest hindrance is when we let our minds get in the way of God’s Way. What our minds cannot fathom, Faith gives us the power to believe in God and the Power of His Might. The joy of the Lord in our hearts allows us to dig deep, overcome every fickle emotion, do away with our numerous insecurities, press in further, and endure with patience the race we are called to run.

‍Hebrews 10:35

God provides us with the miracle of endurance and the gift of a patient Faith to conquer our night’s journey. The joy of God’s Greatest Blessings will come in a glorious morning if we will keep going, keep believing, keep trusting, and never for a moment lose our hope and confidence in the Lord our God.
