“As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.”
Psalm 103:12
As the cardinal directions of the east and the west run separate directions, it is impossible for them to meet one another. If you go east, you will never reach west and vice versa. The world is not a rectangular or square box with corners to hide or edges that bring them to an end. As the east and the west never meet or come to an end, so does our life in Jesus Christ which is a precious truth we should all hold on to each moment of each day. As Jesus sends our transgressions and sin far and away from us in each direction, one thing that remains is that east and west are line segments. Line segments infinitely travel one direction. Sin goes far way, life in Christ continues for eternity, and we are always held close to the heart of Jesus.
“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending”
Revelation 1:8
Jesus Christ holds our beginning in one hand and our end in the other that spans as far as the east is from the west; from one scarred hand to the other. In the center of it all is the heart of Christ where we dwell in His Love and Grace that knows no end. When we come to the end of a chapter in life, Jesus brings us to a new beginning through each passing phase of our never-ending life in Christ. As our names are written in The Lamb’s Book of Life, it is Christ that continually turns the pages of our lives and helps us through each new chapter of our daily living. The Love of God transcends time. His Hands are upon our new beginnings and conquered endings that keeps us in the heart of His Grace and Love for all of Eternity.
As Jesus holds the book of our lives in each hand, we must remember there is no end to God’s end. In Christ, there are only new beginnings with new blessings. As our life ends, when we breathe our final breath, we start a brand-new glorious beginning with Him in Heaven. Through death or life, we constantly pass through one condition, from glory to glory, and from everlasting to everlasting that is all held together by the Hands of Jesus Christ. As His Heart will never stop beating for us, our hearts will always beat with Him through His Love and Grace from beginning to end regardless of our chapter in Christ.
