Mountains are Shaken and Moved, Not God

March 18, 2022
“For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee”

Isaiah 54:10

God speaks to us through His Word that the world around us will be shaken. However, God’s Promise of Redemption, His Everlasting Peace, and the Kingdom of God in the Heavens above and within our hearts will not and cannot be shaken. Our security is found in God’s Holiness and our confidence forever in His Faithfulness. His Love for us conquers all, overcomes all, and protects us from all alarm.

“And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:”

Hebrews 12:27-28

As we tarry in this life, we are constantly reminded that life is not about what we have to overcome on our own. Our life is hidden in Jesus Christ who overcame the world that makes us more than overcomers in the world. It is the Kindness of God that helps us through every bump in the road. It is God’s Peace that guides us up out of the darkest valleys to the mountain top of glory and praise.

As the Holy Spirit breathes the Presence of Christ deep within our soul, let the mountains and hills of this life be removed by the Power of God. We must allow the assurance of God’s Salvation and the peacefulness of His Presence fill our hearts and minds to let His Mercy and Grace truly rock our world. Life is full of surprises, but we will not be moved or shaken. The Lord our God holds us firm in strength and power in His Unshakable Love that will never be removed from us.  Whether mountains big or small and through troubles that come and go, remember that God’s Peace, God’s Kindness, and God’s Compassion will never once leave us. God moves everything for our good to draws us closer into His Presence to experience the fullness of His Goodness.
