Let Revival Come

October 29, 2021
“Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.”

Revelation 2:5

It is now more important than ever that every Believer comes to a true state of Revival.  The only way a Believer can experience a true Revival in their heart and life is to repent.  Repentance is admitting God is right, we are wrong, and coming back to the “the first love” to “the first works” of Jesus Christ and Him Crucified.  We must place, anchor, and maintain our Faith exclusively in the Finished Work of Christ that allows us to have the Power of God.  This allows the Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth, guide us away from the world, and closer to Christ.  The closer we are to Christ, the more we reflect the image of Jesus.  We can then live in a constant state of Revival as we are renewed daily in the likeness of His Resurrection.

True Revival brings death to self so that we may come alive in Jesus Christ, die to apathy, and ignite a passion, enthusiasm, and desire for more of Jesus.  Revival happens to one hungry heart after another and is not confined to a church building, service, or denomination.  Jesus says, “If two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”  Two or more Revived Hearts meeting in the name of Jesus constitutes a True Church; a Blood Bought Church!!

The Lord is breathing His Breath into dry bones that are willing to arise and come alive in the Lord.  Coming alive in Christ, and going all the way with Him, will come at a cost.  Some will call us a fanatic or will begin to separate themselves from us.  Our separated life in Christ is a threat to the compromise and lukewarm-ness to the world and fair-weather Christians.  Remember, Jesus came to his own, and his own received him not.  We will be rejected, we will be cast out, and we will be stoned with vicious words from the religious.  How glorious shall it be, however, to share in the persecutions, sufferings, and burdens of our Lord Jesus Christ.  The Lord promises to stand with us in every situation and to overcome as He overcame.

“Hold fast till I come… Surely I come quickly”

If there is any consolation to this apostatized society of which we are currently living in is that we are in the final church age of Laodicea; the last church age before the Rapture.  We are one minute until midnight, watch, and pray as the Day of the Lord vastly approaches.

Do not let apathy and lukewarm-ness keep you from inheriting the Kingdom of God and miss out on the abundant life Jesus Christ gave unto us through sacrificing His Perfect Life.  Your Salvation and Redemption were paid for with a hefty price.  The only cure for the dying, hungry, and thirsty soul living in darkness is Jesus Christ.
