Faith Sees the Victory

August 7, 2020
“Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.”

Matthew 21:21

As a Believer when faced with difficult circumstances or tough decisions, we can either see the battle ahead through the carnal eyes of doubt or through the divine lens of Faith.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7)

Doubt sees the obstacle while Faith sees opportunity. Doubt sees the giants while Faith sees God. Doubt sees the difficulty while Faith sees the victory. Doubt says we cannot while Faith says we can. Doubt sees no way while Faith sees God making a way. Doubt says to flee while Faith reminds us to be still, be courageous, for the battle is not ours, but Gods.

“Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.” (Psalm 37:5)

God’s Way is Holy and Perfect. Faith is about letting go of our own agendas and letting God go before us to do the planning and the moving while we are to follow close behind Him. A sign of spiritual maturity is aligning our way with God’s way. A true Prayer Warrior is one that seeks God’s strategy for the Will of God. The Bible Yielder searches the scriptures to seek and know the Mind of God in all things. We must trust the Lord and be obedient to His Word when He says to be courageous or to be timid. “Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him” (Psalm 37:7). Sometimes the most courageous thing we can do is to obey God when He says to patiently stand still when we so impatiently want to advance. Other times Faith gives us a Holy Trust to boldly press forward and courageously take hold of the Promises of God, though our fears and doubts of the unknown make us want to stand still. “Wait on the Lord, and keep His way, and He shall exalt you to inherit the land” (Psalm 37:34). Whether we are waiting forthe Lord or on the Lord, Faith does not go into action until we put it into action.

The toughest battlefield is the space that lies between our own two ears: our mind. Not only did Jesus Christ save us and deliver us from sin and death, but He also saves us from ourselves. We often try to envision the outcome in our minds while leaving God out of the equation. This only leads us to anxiety and stress, not a Holy Rest and divine victory. The Lord our God is not just a variable in the equation, but He is the equation itself and the solution to the outcome!! Yes, giants are large and the deck may be stacked against us, but enemies flee, walls come tumbling down, and giants are slain with the Lord our God fighting for us!! God is bigger than any giant of unbelief and greater than any of our toughest battles of doubt. What seems so hard according to our five senses is never too hard for God through our Faith and Trust in Him.

“Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7)

The next time the circumstance seems too chaotic, the decision too daunting, or the giants too great, remember it is not yours to bear; it is God’s. Take hold of your miracle and breakthrough today in the Name of Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord with holy hands lifted high with a shout of victory. Stop letting fear and doubt keep you from obtaining what God has already victoriously promised you. Let Belief and Faith through the Word of God remind you to: “Fight the good fight of faith… If God be for us, who can be against us…. No weapon formed against us shall prosper…. We are more than conquerors through Him who loves us… Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

“See A Victory” by Elevation Worship

There’s power in the mighty name of Jesus
Every war He wages He will win
I’m not backing down from any giant
I know how this story ends
I know how this story ends
I’m gonna see a victory
I’m gonna see a victory
For the battle belongs to You Lord
I’m gonna see a victory
I’m gonna see a victory
For the battle belongs to You Lord
