“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

‍Matthew 11:28    

Jesus Christ calls us all to “Come unto Me... and I will give…” to allow Him to do for us what we can never do for ourselves:

1. If we come to Jesus wounded, He will give us healing.

2. If we come to Jesus broken, He will make us whole.

3. If we come to Jesus guilty, He will give us pardon.

4. If we come to Jesus empty, He will give us the fullness of God.

5. If we come to Jesus hungry, He will satisfy our hunger with the Bread of Life.

6. If we come to Jesus thirsty, He will quench our thirst with the Living Waters of the Holy Spirit.

7. If we come to Jesus tired and heavy, He will give us rest.  Jesus takes the load of life off our backs to place us, and our burdens, on His own shoulders.

Our Lord asks so little of us yet provides us with the greatness of the Kingdom of Heaven.  Come unto Jesus Christ in the full assurance of faith and He will give us abundantly more than we could ever deserve.  He is more than enough to satisfy every hunger, thirst, and need during our lifetime.

Jesus Christ is truly all we need!!!
