Men's Rib and Chili Cookoff

Get ready for a day of football, food, and fellowship at our 2nd Annual Men’s Rib and Chili Cookoff! We’ll be gathering to enjoy great fellowship and college football on a giant inflatable screen.

If you plan to bring chili and/or ribs, then that will be the price of your admission. If you plan to attend only (without bringing chili and/or ribs), then the cost per attendee is $5.00.

Event Schedule

• 11:00am – Doors Open
• 11:00am to 12:00pm – Chili Sampling and Voting for People’s Choice
• 12:00pm – Group meal begins
• 1:00pm – Awards presentation for Rib and Chili Competitions

Come hungry and bring your competitive spirit for two friendly competitions

• ‍Chili Competition – People’s Choice voting
  
  • ‍Chili Competitors: You will provide one pot of chili that will be judged by event attendees (We will provide all toppings for chili)‍
• Rib Competition – Judged on taste, tenderness, and appearance‍
  
  • Rib Competitors: You must prepare and bring one rack of ribs. Two ribs will go to the judges; the rest will be served during the group meal.

We will be providing additional ribs, sides, and more to go along with the Group Meal. This will also be your opportunity to make a full bowl of whatever chili(s) you liked best when you were sampling.

To all competitors: All entries must be prepared/cooked at home and then brought to the church. Please do not bring smokers, grills, and/or boilers to the church.

All competitors must be registered by 9/22/2026.

Prizes will be awarded to the winners of both competitions
